Welcome to Grandpa’s Truck! By using our website or booking our moving services, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
Services Provided

Grandpa’s Truck is a family-owned moving company based in Kansas City.

We provide moving services for furniture, appliances, and household items.

We do not transport hazardous materials, pets, or items that are unsafe or unsanitary (moldy, contaminated, etc.).

Moves are currently limited to the Kansas City area.
Booking and Payment

All moves must be scheduled in advance. Our team evaluates the items being moved to estimate the time and cost.

Customers must contact 816-663-5324 to request a free quote before booking.

Payment is due only after the move is completed and must be made in person.

Accepted payment methods: Cash, PayPal, CashApp, Zelle.
Customer Responsibilities

Customers must provide accurate contact information and clear details of items to be moved.

All items must be accessible and ready at the scheduled move time.

If customers pack items themselves, they must ensure proper protection (newspapers, bubble wrap, etc.) for fragile items. Grandpa’s Truck is not responsible for damages to improperly packed items.

If Grandpa’s Truck handles packing, any damages during the move will be covered by us.
Liability

Grandpa’s Truck takes care to move your items safely.

We are not responsible for pre-existing damage or damages caused by improper packing by the customer.

Any damages caused while in our care and under our packing services will be covered.
Cancellations and Rescheduling

Moves must be canceled or rescheduled at least 24 hours in advance.

Late cancellations or no-shows may be charged a fee of $50 or 25% of the estimated move cost, whichever is higher. This protects our team from last-minute losses for large moves.

Moves can be rescheduled based on availability.
Delays

If there are any delays due to traffic, weather, or other factors, the customer will be notified as soon as possible.
Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri.
Changes to Terms
-
Grandpa’s Truck may update these terms at any time.

Continued use of our website or services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
